   My name is Troy Walker and I'm senior Pastor of New Life UMC in Anniston, Alabama. I am the husband of Tanya Walker and together we are the parents of three and grandparents of five. I was gloriously saved by the Lord Jesus Christ in 1999. Since then I've had an insatiable desire and know and serve Him. In 2012 He called me to preach his word, and that call has already taken me around the world. I firmly believe that no person is beyond the reach of the love of God, and I'm committed to exemplifying that not only in word but also in deed. I have an intense passion to introduce the world to a uncondemning, perfectly loving, unconditionally forgiving, absolutely beautiful, heavenly Father. I won't and can't be satisfied until every creature on this planet knows my Lord! 

Mark 16:15 ...Go ye therefore into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature..

Custodian:

 Ms. Terri was born and raised in Anniston.  Her parents are Tommie and Orlander Turner, but she was raised by her grandmother, who taught her about Jesus.  She graduated from Anniston High School in 1980, and attended school at Miles College and Gadsden State.  She has one daughter, two sons, and ten grandchildren.

Ms. Terri’s favorite scripture is Psalm 23.  The verse that resonates with her most is verse 1, “The lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want…” It comforts her by reminding her that she has a Shepherd who will protect her from everything, including her enemies, provide her every need, and let her know that He is all she will ever need.

She enjoys serving at New Life by: singing, cooking, working with the youth, driving the church van, serving hot meals to the community, eating good food, fishing, dancing, spending time with family, but most of all she enjoys LOVING THE LORD!
